So last Wednesday Los Borrachos kicked off in San Francisco. SF is always dope, I lived there for a bit when i was younger and I always like going back.The spot Vessel was bangin, nice vibes, good times. Thursday we headed back to my hometown, MIAMI. id been looking forward to this show. I dont get to play home too much, but when i do its always nuts. Shout out to my cuzo Serge, the Money Shot crew - Jake & Xavier and all the people that came out. Vagabond was nuts. Check here for pics. Dave Nada got down! he was killing it with his Nadastrom stuff - his Milli remix and Handz remix are off the chain. you people gotta check this. Dave got the crowd nice and ready - I jump on and play a little bit of everything. The crowd keeps dancing, me and Dave keep drinking and that party goes on….. Friday night we head over to Dallas. I gotta say the Dallas show was DOPE. We arrived still hung over from the night before, we head to the Loft, go straight to the bar and a few shots later things started to pop off. Dave goes on and is killing it, he is jumping all over the stage like a madman. It was the Loft’s anniversary and they had a cake to celebrate on stage. Dave grabs it and acts like he is going to toss it into the crowd. He doesn’t, but slips on the way back to the table and cake goes everywhere. Next up is me, I do my thing, playing all the stuff Ive really been feeling lately - anything the Crookers make to Rusko’s dupstep. The crowd jumps up on stage, Dave is doing cartwheels, stage diving, people are shoving cake in their mouths while screaming along to songs - shit was dope. Big shouts to Rachel from the Loft for looking out for us. Dallas we will be back.

This months clip is of DJ Noize and Shortkut. Both of these dudes inspired my 98 DMC routine so much. Noize is a master at “phrasing” on the decks and Shortkut was one of the first tablist to be dope all around….he can cut, beatjuggle, phrase and do body tricks. Two of the illest to ever do it. So about a year or so ago I went on this small tour, you may have heard of it ‘Catch An Attitude’? it was me and a bunch of no names - A-Trak, Kid Sister, Flosstradamus…JOKES! yeah, it was a dope ass tour with a bunch of good peoples. So anyway, we had some time off in London and Sinden invites us down to do some guest mixes on his show on Kiss FM. I was glad to do it, Sinden is the man and Im a fan of his show. So now you’re asking, Craze, what the hell does this have to do with Mad Decent? im getting there. Now, unless you’ve been living under a rock or been spending way too much time on dogs on acid - you know who Diplo is and if you know Diplo than you know Mad Decent. This month’s clip is of the The Dream Team (Invisible Scratch Piklz) back in 1994 when they won the DMC World competition. I remember watching this thinking to myself "these are the baddest motherf@#kers on the planet". I studied this everyday for a couple of years and it helped me become the dj I am today. Enjoy!!
